AC Milan lost 3-2 against Atalanta. Gian Piero Gasperini's team managed to score the winner moments after Davide Calabria's red card in he dying minutes of the match, unfortunately. The Rossoneri, therefore, went back home empty handed.
Among the absences the team suffered, there was Rafael Leao. He was not called up for the match in Bergamo. But, it seems that he will be ready to play in Newcastle's stadium St. James' Park.
In fact, as it was reported by the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the Portuguese player will be available for Stefano Pioli and is set to start alongside Olivier Giroud in the Rossoneri attack.
Rafael Leao's comeback is significant, undoubtedly providing an extra solution to Milan's offensive line.
It is probable, however, that Serbian centre-forward Luka Jovic (who scored the second equaliser against Atalanta) will start from the bench in the decisive match at St James' Park.
