The AC Milan Bosnian midfielder, Rade Krunic, is working alone at Milanello these days and he was not part of the squad list which made the trip to Empoli.

Technically, he's not out of the squad, but in terms of choices, it's as if he were. The 'diplomatic backache' in the Milan-Sassuolo match didn't sit well with the management, writes Milan News.

Now, the player and his entourage are paying the consequences. Because the dealings with Fenerbahçe didn't sit well with Furlani, Moncada, and D’Ottavio at all, as the Turks – with the player and agent's complicity – created both technical and environmental issues for Milan at a time when there were already too many injuries and unavailable players.

Essentially, what happened was that Fenerbahçe, realizing there would never be a contract renewal between Krunic and Milan, started weaving a web back in the summer, turning off the lights for the player, wrongly convinced of being worth the 3.5 million offered by the Turks in the summer.

During the negotiations – which were brief – the request was close to that figure, and Milan said no. But it's the aftermath that created a situation that will become a jurisprudential example within the Rossoneri world: no one can dictate departure conditions to Milan. And so, the first offer from Fenerbahçe of 4 million euros (without bonuses) was rejection with a clear message: 'Come up with something more serious.'

These days, at Casa Milan, they're expecting an improved offer for the player's card, as Al Shabab has also shown interest, otherwise Krunic will finish the season at Milan. Probably, one way or another, the Turks will go beyond 5 million euros, the minimum figure for which Milan will negotiate.
