Mike Maignan spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia after the Udinese-Milan match, which the Rossoneri won 3-2 in a comeback.
Below are Maignan's words:
On the racist incident against him in the first half:
"At the first clearance, I went to get the ball and heard monkey noises; in that case, I didn't say anything. Then the same thing happened with the second clearance, so I went and spoke to the bench and the fourth official. It's not the first time it has happened to me or to others; we can't play like this. They are ignorant people and do not represent the entire fan base because true fans come to support and not to do these things."
On his teammates who consoled him, Maignan said:
"We have a great group; we are a family. Everyone came to support me. We took to the field to win because the best response is to win."
