There was a big disappointment last night at San Siro for Milan. Stefano Pioli's team missed two penalties and still managed to take the lead. But, Bologna found the equaliser in the last few minutes of the match.
The Rossoneri head coach has spoken to Milan TV after the final whistle and offered these words:
"Perhaps we deserved more, but this is football, and we have to be aware of this; it's the sport. It's disheartening to draw a game like this that we had built up after wasting so much, even mentally it wasn't easy with two missed penalties; my boys certainly deserved more."
Bologna's equalizer
"We conceded that chance to Orsolini that we should have avoided. In numerical superiority, these are things we cannot afford, but that's football. We didn't do badly in the second half; we deserved more, but now we have to keep working ahead of the Frosinone match."
Pioli added:
"In the second half, we did well. It wasn't easy playing with so many booked players; I made substitutions even to stay 11 against 11. We're not happy, obviously. With a victory, our mood would have changed; we had to capitalise on an important opportunity, despite the two missed penalties."
On Ruben Loftus-Cheek's goals:
"We are creating a lot, even in terms of offensive opportunities. Ruben knows it well; he can score many goals, and I'm happy about that. He has to continue filling the box as he's doing."
