The winter transfer market closed in the beginning of this February month, but it's already time to think about the summer one.

While in January Milan made only two moves (the return from loan of Matteo Gabbia from Villarreal and the purchase of Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona), in June they will need to be much more active since the priorities are different: a central defender, a centre-forward, a midfielder, and a full-back.

According to this morning's La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper edition, which starts its analysis of Milan's summer transfer market from the defense, the names circulating are essentially the same as in January: Lilian Brassier, a 1999-born player from Brest (the French were asking for 12 million euros, they'll need to lower their demands in the summer), Maxence Lacroix, a 23-year-old Frenchman from Wolfsburg, and Tosin Adarabioyo, an English center-back whose contract with Fulham is expiring at the end of the season. Keep an eye, however, on other profiles such as Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth and Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea.

Other departments to reinforce Milan:

Regardless of the future of the current two forwards (Luka Jovic has convinced and is heading towards renewal, Olivier Giroud will decide at the end of the season), Milan will have to make a big investment in attack in a few months.

At the moment, there are four names on the list: Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig, Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord, and Jonathan David from Lille. As for the midfielder, the name of Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea might come back into fashion,

As for the left-back position, it's no secret that the Rossoneri has been moving for Juan Miranda from Betis for some time, whose contract is expiring at the end of the season. The Rossoneri are in the lead, but the deal is not yet closed (especially keep an eye on Borussia Dortmund), as relayed via Milan News.
