AC Milan has taken a significant new step towards the construction of its new stadium in San Donato Milanese: as reported by the Italian outlet Calcio e Finanza, yesterday the Rossoneri club completed the deed for the land (San Francesco area) on which the sports facility and all other related entertainment activities should be built.
The amount invested by Milan to purchase this land has not been disclosed, but it is less than 40 million euros, a figure that emerged in recent weeks referring to payments by the controlling shareholder RedBird for expenses related to the stadium project (including documentation for the submission of the urban planning application, the lands subject to the deed, and other aspects always linked to the new facility).
