According to what is reported by ANSA, in recent weeks there have been two contacts between Milan and Inter regarding the new stadium project.
According to the latest update, it seems that Gerry Cardinale called Steven Zhang, Inter's owner, in mid-January and asked him to reconsider the idea of a joint project on the stadium front, with the intention of building together at San Donato.
In early February, the second contact occurred, with a meeting at Inter's headquarters at the beginning of February after a summit that the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri executives had also had with those of Juventus for the proposal of an 18-team Serie A. At the end of the meeting, the situation in San Donato was discussed, although, according to the news, Inter does not seem enthusiastic and indeed intends to move forward with the Rozzano project.
