Rafael Leao's season is not as negative as some say, but it's clear that more goals are expected from a talented player of his caliber. Despite the difficulties in scoring, especially in the league, the Portuguese has always been a fundamental element of Milan's offensive play with assists and plays worthy of a great player.
On Sunday, after over five long months, the Milan number 10 finally returned to scoring in Serie A and now he aims to continue to find the net again.
In recent months, there have been market rumours about him. In particular, Leao seems to have caught the attention of Paris Saint-Germain, who will bid farewell to Kylian Mbappé in the summer and are in search of his replacement.
In Rafael's new contract, signed last year and expiring in 2028, a release clause of 175 million euros was included. It's difficult for anyone to come up with such an amount, but the Rossoneri management doesn't intend to sit down at the table to discuss proposals that aren't at least in the three-digit range.
Regarding his future, Rafael Leao said these words yesterday:
"Here, where I am happy. PSG? I want to win a lot more with this important shirt."
The Portuguese has pledged loyalty to Milan and aims to win more trophies with the AC Milan team.
