Three days are still missing until the challenge between Milan and Slavia Prague at San Siro, valid for the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, but predictions are already being made about which lineup Stefano Pioli might decide to field, considering that Milan will arrive at the match six days after the game with Lazio and that on Sunday they will host Empoli before going to the Czech Republic.
This morning, the Il Corriere dello Sport puts forward a couple of hypotheses in its headline:
"Thiaw returns as a starter. Florenzi remains on the right."
Stefano Pioli could make a few changes, especially now that the central defenders are all available.
This is why Malick Thiaw could start instead of Simon Kjaer and pair up with Matteo Gabbia, who is hardly dispensable: Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu are not yet ready to regain their starting positions.
On the right, Alessandro Florenzi's trust could be confirmed since he will then be suspended in the league.
