With deep sorrow and immense sadness, Fiorentina today loses one of its reference points, a figure who has marked the recent history of the Club and will never be forgotten. The General Manager Giuseppe Barone, after the illness that occurred on Sunday, passed away today at the "San Raffaele" hospital in Milan.
AC Milan also shared a message which states the following about Joe Barone, who passed away at the of 57:
