AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, is close to closing the chapter of his career at San Siro.
La Repubblica newspaper in this morning's print edition explains that the Rossoneri's elimination from the Europa League against AS Roma makes the former Fiorentina and Inter boss close to leaving at the end of the season. We read the following headline:
"Pioli's departure from AC Milan seems inevitable in June, regardless of Monday's derby which could hand Inter the 2nd star."
Speaking at a press conference after the match, Pioli responded to a question about his future:
"What changes in my future? Have patience until the end of the season, then we will sum up together with the club and address the issue".
