Stefano Pioli's future seems increasingly distant from Milan. The Rossoneri, given the recent disappointments, seem to have decided to make changes at the end of the season, and there are many names in contention to start anew.
Pioli, however, as reported by today's edition of the Naples-based newspaper Il Mattino, wants to get back into the game immediately and could do so with Serie A side Napoli. The owner of the club, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has indeed chosen him as the successor to current coach Francesco Calzona and has a two-year contract ready, worth 3 million euros net per season.
The Italian newspaper, though, does remind its readers that it is necessary for Stefano Pioli to reach an agreement with the Rossoneri club to resolve his contract, which expires in 2025, if he does agree to join Napoli.
