AC Milan Women's head Coach Maurizio Ganz and fullback Federica Rizza spoke to the Milan TV microphones after the defeat today against Juventus.

The coach declared:

"Two inattention changed immediately the game in favor of Juventus. In the first half we did everything to pursue them, force them to make mistakes. In the second half, at least until their third goal, we created some chances, we also changed game system things improved a lot, but after their fourth, the game was over for us. I'm sorry but we have to be honest and say that this Juve is the strongest in the league, so, when you lose with a team like this, and you also have to give credit for them. It has been 15 games so for, we got 13 wins and only 2 defeats to Juventus, nothing takes away from the great season we are making, clearly that now we enter a delicate moment, we have important games, we must approach them in the right way, to have more personality, more character and try to play much more effective than we have done today.

We still have a lot of goals until the end of the season; however, we are six points from Juventus, we’ll try to keep tabs on them until the end, I hope Juventus can lose points, but obviously that we have to make our own path. As I said before, we played 15 games, got 10 wins and only 2 defeats to Juventus, this is our championship and so I don't have anything to do but thank the girls for what they are doing. We must not give up now as I said, some difficult tests are yet to come, and we have to stand together and achieve the goals for this season in this very competitive league."

Rizza stated the following:

"We knew we were an exceedingly difficult game playing here against Juventus, the league leaders. We tried, we made the mistakes, that was obvious, But, in short, we must go on and now we will look to keep our pace, we did great in the league we want to continue to do it. One learns especially from those games, so we now must keep it cool, review this game and figure out where we got it wrong to try to improve ourselves to definitely go and face with all the other teams that are waiting for us. Our goal, we know, is to make it into the Champions League. and go to the final of the Coppa Italia and win the Coppa Italia, clearly, so we will work for it and I am sure we will learn so much from this defeat."
