Speaking to Sky Sport, Mathieu Flamini, who played for AC Milan from the 2008/2009 season until the 2012/2013 season, winning a Scudetto and a Supercoppa Italiana, and later becoming a successful businessman, shared his thoughts on the current state of the Rossoneri and the increasingly likely appointment of Paulo Fonseca as the next coach. His words:
On AC Milan's season:
"When you support Milan, you want to win every year. It hasn't been a bad season because they still finished second. We all hope to win the Scudetto every year, but it's not easy. They've added several new players; let's hope for the best next year."
On the choice of hiring Paulo Fonseca, Flamini said:
"He is a coach of great quality, so we hope he can transform Milan into a winning team. In my opinion, he could be the right man. He has done great things in France, and he is a coach who loves beautiful football."
