Alfredo Pedullà, on his own website, reports this update on the negotiation that could bring Joshua Zirkzee to Milan:
"We have often told you how there has always been a great relationship between Kia Joorabchian and Cristiano Giuntoli (Juve's director), which is turning into an ironclad pact. After what is happening with Douglas Luiz (the phone call with Monchi and the support of the Iranian agent), we must be very attentive to the developments regarding Zirkzee. As we exclusively reported in the afternoon, Juventus could come back strong for the Dutch forward, taking advantage of the stand-by phase between Milan and the agent. Last Thursday, Juve was sidelined, indeed, but it was evidently a strategy to stay on the sidelines, taking advantage of any missteps by rivals. And regarding the commissions, Milan, which had moved closer on Thursday, had to note that the terms have often changed. Milan has only one option, now that it has been on a roller coaster: pay what Joorabchian is asking, full stop. Otherwise, they will have to focus on Dovbyk, Gimenez, or some other Premier League player."
"The question arises spontaneously: is there someone behind Kia? The suspicion is strong, the suspicion that Giuntoli might be involved as well. Another question would be: would Zirkzee's arrival lead to the sale of Vlahovic? No one is untouchable, Dusan’s salary is quite large but he is happy and so is Juve, so until proven otherwise, the club is operating with the expectation of a possible/probable sale of either Chiesa or Soulé, if not both. Of course, Zirkzee has a market in the Premier League (there is always talk of Arsenal and Manchester United), but if Juve really decided to go for it… Watch out."
