AC Milan continues to work on the transfer market. Their main target for the attack remains Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. Amid difficulties, many alternatives are emerging. Here’s the update from the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.
According to the source, Milan is still in talks with Zirkzee’s agent. The Rossoneri don’t feel they are out of the race for the Dutch player yet, but time is running out and alternative names are starting to surface.
The newspaper mentions four names: Artem Dovbyk from Girona, who, like Zirkzee, has a release clause of 40 million euros, is currently plan B, but Atletico Madrid is also strongly interested in him.
Additionally, Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord is not to be excluded. In the background, there is also Jonathan David from Lille, coached by Milan’s next manager Paulo Fonseca. In short, the Rossoneri striker remains the main intrigue of the Milan transfer market.
Atlético Madrid's 20-year-old Spanish striker, Samu Omorodion (who spent the season on loan at Deportivo Alaves) is also being evaluated by the AC Milan club directors.
