Beyond targeting a forward, one of AC Milan's major goals for this transfer window is to secure at least one high-quality midfielder with specific characteristics. Among the many names mentioned, the one that has recently climbed the ranks is Youssouf Fofana from Monaco, born in 1999, with a contract expiring in June 2025.
Given the Frenchman's contract situation, Milan will attempt to bring him from Monaco after the European Championship for a fee of around 20 million euros. Several Premier League clubs and PSG are also interested in the midfielder.
