Speaking to Milan TV, the Rossoneri defender, Matteo Gabbia, spoke about the new head coach Paulo Fonseca and said these words:
"There is a lot of curiosity and desire to follow the new coach who has just arrived. We want to get to know him and have him get to know us. Consequently, this is our goal for these first weeks of work: to try to get to know each other better and to show him our strengths and weaknesses, to lay the foundations for a future that can be beautiful."
On the 'Milan Futuro' project:
"The initiative the club has undertaken is very nice; consequently, we hope that the young players can also help us. We know that we have an excellent youth sector with many talented young players, and last year, in a delicate moment, they gave us a hand. Therefore, it will be a stimulus for both us and them as they approach the start of the season with the first team."
