Yesterday, It felt strange not to see flags and banners, not to hear chants and drums at Milanello from the Curva Sud Ultras.

The decision of the group of fans and the Milan Club Association to boycott the first day of the '24-25 season's training camp has made this gathering decidedly silent and surreal in environmental terms.

Only three hundred fans arrived at the Rossoneri sports center (compared to other previous first times, the figure is missing a whole zero): families, children, gentlemen and ladies of various ages who gathered around the outdoor field to witness the first training session. On the other hand, the still clogged transfer market, Ibra yesterday morning had definitively put out Zirkzee (read his words here), doesn't help.

Those who were there, however, were able to enjoy an interesting first training session, including the management who had moved in full force from Casa Milan. Interesting in the sense that it was a real workout. Decidedly intense, lasting just over an hour during which Fonseca personally took charge of the work from the first to the last minute. He positioned himself in the middle of the team during muscle activation, then crouched down to get the best view to dissect all the movements of all the players when the ball, after just five minutes, appeared in the exercises.

A very involved coach: applause, encouragement, corrections. Moreover, when the themed matches began, he stopped the game several times to explain to the players the movements and passing lines.

There were real tactical lessons, in which he often took the ball himself to show in detail what he wanted from his new team. "Move, move!" he shouted several times, complained when the front line changed too slowly, and encouraged the goalkeepers to participate more in the build-up.

At the end of the session, Paulo helped his collaborators clear the field of equipment (it's not so usual to see him do this) and then walked around the field to greet the fans. All very naturally, all greatly appreciated, as pointed out by La Gazzetta dello Sport in their website.
