The AC Milan club managers, after signing Alvaro Morata from Atlético Madrid, are looking for the right opportunities to reinforce other positions in the lineup of head coach Paulo Fonseca.
According to the latest news reported in today's print edition of La Repubblica, the Rossoneri directors are indeed moving for Lazar Samardzic, Udinese's attacking midfielder.
Udinese, however, are asking for a fee of 22.5 million euros. There is work ongoing to try to find a solution and an agreement for both parties.
Lazar Samardzic, who is 22 years of age, made 34 appearances last season in Serie A. He scored 6 goals (including one against Milan last January 20, 2024) and provided 2 assists across 2382 minutes of playing time. The Serbian international, who was born in Germany, has a contract with Udinese until the summer of 2026.
