Carlo Ancelotti, former legendary coach of AC Milan, and currently coach of Everton in the Premier League has granted an interview to Radio Rai. He mentioned many topics, among them was AC Milan.
"Stefano Pioli is doing very well with AC Milan, this is clear. I absolutely do not think that the match against Juventus is a decisive one for them. It is thanks to Maldini that the club has done a great job in the last mercato to bring on board some young players because there was really no chance of spending a lot of money. It is different, however with Inter as they had a strong intervention from their investor."
It is clear that AC Milan did not spend much in the last mercato session, but the work of the mercato men at Casa Milan proved to be fruitful. It is expected that January's transfer market window will not be any much different, as the plan is to recruit specific profiles, as reported by Sky recently.
