Lille's Boubakary Soumaré is one of the main transfer targets for AC Milan, according to Calciomercato, but the Rossoneri won't be the only ones in the race as reports from England claim that Manchester United are also interested.
In fact, Man United are not considered as new suitors, since they've already followed the Frenchman closely last summer, when their star midfielder Paul Pogba was set to leave the club.
Now, even after Pogba didn't eventually leave Old Trafford in the previous transfer window, he'll most probably end up doing so next summer with his contract expriring in 2022. Hence, Soumaré is considered one more time as a potential replacement for his compatriot according to The Sun.
In the other hand, Lille's Manager Christophe Galtier is far from convinced to let his player go immediately, as he's intending to dethrone the champions Paris-Saint-Germain being joint-top of Ligue 1 currently. Therefore, AC Milan and Manchester United must wait until the summer if they want to sign the 21-year-old.
