AC Milan have tried to sign a centre-back in the previous transfer market window. Many reports have linked the Rossoneri club with Turkish 20 year-old defender, Ozan Kabak, who currently plays for Bundesliga side Schalke 04.
It seems now that the interest has cooled down as AC Milan shifted its attention to a seemingly more affordable player in Mohamed Simakan, 20 year-old defender of French Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg. The latest report from The Athletic's James Pearce (via route1futbol on Twitter) claims that AC Milan deemed the price of Ozan Kabak too excessive which was at €25M.
