Coppa Italia Round of 16
Milan will take on Torino yet once again after a triumphant victory at San Siro on Saturday. The Rossoneri won comfortably scoring 2 in the first half and holding out to see a win. Brahim Diaz who was given the start in this fixture, performed admirably winning the Man of the Match award providing Leao with an assist and winning a penalty for the Rossoneri which sealed the victory. With the recent win, Milan can go into this game confident yet again.
Going into this fixture it is safe to say Stefano Pioli will be rotating some of his men so that some of his starters can get some rest for the upcoming Serie A Matchday 18 fixture against Cagliari. Additionally, Rafael Leao should be a starter in this game. Due to yellow card accumulation, the attacker will be suspended for the game against Cagliari.
Probable starting XI:
(4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Mussachio, Romagnoli, Dalot; Calabria (Kessie), Tonali; Castillejo, Diaz, Hauge; Leao
With Leao and Diaz starting once again they will be looking to use their offensive dynamic to help create opportunities for Milan to find the back of the net. Leao has scored 3 times in his last 5 appearances and has contributed to 10 goals for Milan with a tally of 6 goals and 4 assists in all competitions. He will want to have another great performance before having to make his way to the bench for Cagliari. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will most likely make an appearance as well, he will not start but could make a feature off the bench later on in the game. Though there are some different faces in the starting lineup, Stefano Pioli and his men will want to achieve victory to advance to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia. Achieving the previous victory over Marco Giampaolo's La Granata of Torino has put the Rossoneri in good spirits to achieve victory once again.
