Milan's coach Stefano Pioli gave an interview to Milan TV, these are his words ahead of the match against Torino tomorrow:
"We explained to the team that this season was going to be a very demanding one: aiming to go through the Europa League qualifiers and progress in that competition so it was going to be difficult with so many matches to play. But that is also very motivating."
"We have done well so far but we have still a lot to do. We must focus on tomorrow's match."
"I think that with such a young team that is eager to play, the more we play, the better it is. We are not worried to play a match every 3 days. It is what we want because we grow further by playing more, by making mistakes and learning from them rather than in training sessions. We hope to move up on all competitions."
"The Coppa Italia is an important competition, to reach until the end, we must play 5 matches. We need to win and we will try to do it. However, I cannot ignore that tomorrow will mark our fourth game in 9 days. I need to make the right choices."
"Of the many positive stats that we made, the best is our number of chances created. We have been creating many chances recently as a team and we are scoring many goals. This shows that we are proactive and can control the match and that we play with conviction. We have the quality to win."
"I think that these are the stats that boost our confidence in the path that we have taken."
"We might have off-days in terms of technical performances but our mentality and desire to win must never be lacking."
"It's important to be on the ball mentally, our next league game will be very important against a good team that is underperforming, so they will be very determined. We must be very focused for these next 5 days but first we must concentrate on our game tomorrow."
