After the results of the postponed games from the group stage between Juventus and Pomigliano, a sounding 5-1 victory to the bianconere, and Roma CF versus AS Roma, won by the latter by 7-0, the FIGC defined the matches for the quarterfinal stage of the Coppa Italia this Thursday.
While Juventus, Roma and Fiorentina will face, respectively, Empoli, Florentia and Internazionale, Milan will face Sassuolo at this stage. As noted by Lucca Maninetti, from Milannews24, it wil not be the first time that the rossonere will play against the neroverde at this stage in the Coppa Italia, as this had happened in the 2018/2019 edition of the competition, when Milan won both legs with the same final score, 2-0.
The winner of Milan and Sassuolo will face whoever wins between Fiorentina and Internazionale in the semifinals.
Firts leg games will be played on january 30 and 31, while the second leg games will be played on February 13 and 14. Still no confirmation on which of those Milan will be playing and
