Alexandre Pato, former AC Milan striker, spoke about the Rossoneri squad and much more to Gazzetta dello Sport, he had this to say:
"I know Italian football, I speak Italian, for me it would be an easy transfer from an environmental point of view.
"I hear that in Italy there may be clubs interested in me. But I would like to make it very clear that at 31 I am not looking for a bank account contract, but for a project that I like. Had it been for the money, I would have stayed in China."
"My body is fine, I'm fine, and my head is different than when you first met me. I know what I can give and what I have to do: will is everything and I have it. I see Europe in my future, especially Italy."
"Nostalgia for Milan? Of course how could I not have it. We are talking about 150 games, 63 goals, a Scudetto and a Super League Cup. It would be a dream to be able to return to Milan, which is in my heart."
"A backup for Ibra? I would say yes, what's the problem? But simply because I wouldn't come to be a deputy: I'd play, a couple of games would be enough to convince the coach (laughs)."
"The other day, to laugh, I sent Paolo a photo of him taken from the TV. It is a relationship that we have maintained and I am pleased. Daniele knows how to work on the head and heart and therefore I know he knows how to manage the players. I see him very well as a coach."
"Joining Monza? I've heard from Galliani a couple of times recently, the problem is the passport (laughs)."
"Milan trusted Pioli. He knows how to manage Ibrahimovic and the whole group. Dreaming of the Scudetto is legitimate. Pioli is the right coach for a Milan that will go a long way. If he wants, he can call me."
