Soualiho Meité is the first arrival for AC Milan from Torino on loan with an option to buy. Now, it seems that a defender could be the second addition of the club in this transfer window. The name at the top of the list of Maldini and Massara is that of Fikayo Tomori, a young central-defender of Chelsea.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, yesterday the leaders of the Rossoneri club kept in touch with the Blues for the transfer of the 23-year-old Englishman. The parties are negotiating on the cost of the loan: Milan have put €1 million on the table, Chelsea are asking for €3 million instead. For the buy-option, however, the British want a fee of €30 million.
The newspaper claims that the atmosphere concerning the negotiations is optimistic. The centre-back is not playing at Chelsea and wants to have more continuity.
