Ex AC Milan and Inter striker, Crespo spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about the Rossoneri and this is what he had to say:
"The win against Cagliari was not so evident because Milan were playing with the pressure from Inter's win, they were also playing an away match Ibrahimovic returned but he knew in what conditions and there were several absences. I feel I can say that it was a very important victory. It is as if the Rossoneri had shouted: 'We are here!'. And they will be there until the end."
"AC Milan are a real team built with intelligence by my friend Paolo Maldini and guided wisely by my friend Stefano Pioli. Then, there is Ibrahimovic, whom young people who approach football should study, he is a phenomenon."
On Ibrahimovic:
"The added value of Milan is the mix between experience, which Ibrahimovic gives, and athletic freshness guaranteed by the youngsters. It is a team that, when it has the ball, knows what to do and here Pioli was good at teaching the players. When the opponents have the ball, the team presses hard, causing fear and anxiety. The way in which Milan is on the pitch is truly modern."
On the Scudetto:
"I'm not falling into the trap. Inter are more structured to win, as shown by investments. Milan are going beyond their limits, and we still don't know where they can go. It's a wonderful challenge: I would really like to play it. A time with Milan and a time with Inter."
