Ralf Rangnick, who was a few steps away from taking the lead of AC Milan back in the summer, before the Rossoneri have ended up trusting Stefano Pioli, is now considered as one of the favorites to replace coach Franck Lampard in Chelsea's hot seat.
According to The Athletic, Rangnick has been mentioned as an option to take the job, alongside Thomas Tuchel, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralph Hassenhutl, as The Blues' hierarchy is reported to be open to the idea of coming up with a German speaker as their next manager, in order to bring the best out of blockbuster summer signings Werner, Havertz & co.
