Coppa Italia quarter-finals approach as Milan face their rivals Inter Milan in a race to advance to the semi-finals. Last year the Rossoneri managed to make it to the semi-finals only to be beaten by Juventus due to an away goal scored. Milan beat their rivals earlier in the season campaign in Serie A and will be looking for another victory. With Gianluigi Donnarumma out due to a red card received in the quarter-finals, it is most likely there will be some rotation in the team once again.
Here is how the Rossoneri may lineup: (4-2-3-1) Tătărusanu; Dalot, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Meïté, Kessié; Saelemakers, Diaz, Leão; Ibrahimović
The red and black faithful will be once again looking to have an outstanding performance to bounce back from the 3-0 defeat suffered at home to Atalanta in Serie A Matchday 19. Il Capitano Alessio Romagnoli makes his way back into the starting XI with his partner in crime Kjaer looking to take the helm composed to lead the team to victory. Saelemakers returning into the lineup will be looking to impress. Meïté will also be looking to perform in his preferred role as in the game against Atalanta he was tried out in the center attacking midfield which did not suit him properly. Striker Zlatan Ibrahimović will be looking to grab a goal against bitter rivals to add to his goal tally of the season. Last but not least, Tătărusanu will be looking to repeat his heroics in the net as he made the vital penalty save to place Milan into the quarterfinals.
