"The chance of getting him was tiny, I can tell you. We had to compete with the Premier League, with big clubs like AC Milan. We laid down our philosophy and explained what kind of a club we are. You know that you cannot win the battle for the money, but you can promote the way of working in PSV. I have seen that he does not choose for money, but for his feelings.
