Sandro Tonali joined AC Milan during the previous summer transfer market window coming from Brescia who could not manage to stay in Serie A. Since then, many ex players, coaches and pundits spoke of the potential that Tonali could have with the Milan squad.
The young Italian midfielder had chances as a starter and even coming from the bench. At times, he showed the qualities and part of what he can really achieve if unleashed at full speed.
While speaking to Sky Sport after the match of Bologna - Milan had ended, this is what Costacurta said regarding Sandro Tonali:
"I expected more of him, but in the past I was lucky enough to play with many young players. At 20 years old, players are not ready as he is. Last year many thought that Bennacer had to leave."
