AC Milan was very keen on signing on Ozan Kabak, he is a 20 year-old Turkish centre-back playing currently for Schalke 04. He was heavily linked to a move to the Rossoneri in the previous mercato session and even during this transfer window alongside RC Strasbourg's Mohamed Simakan before the arrival of Fikayo Tomori on loan from Chelsea.
According to the latest report from Sky Sports UK, he is now a target for Liverpool and a deal could be done during this last day of the January mercato.
The source claims that Premier League champions are set to pay loan fee of around £2.5m to sign the centre-back, with option to buy next summer; Schalke identify Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi as replacement. Liverpool are in a race against time to agree a deal with Schalke for their central defender Ozan Kabak.
Preparations are underway for the 20-year old to undergo a medical in Germany on Deadline Day, if a deal can be agreed.
