Hungarian journalist Akos Varga of Spiler TV granted an interview to Pianetamilan.it to talk about the recent Milan signing Milos Kerkez who is said to be a good talent for the future. Here is what he said about the 17 year-old left-back:
"According to many reports, it is said that Maldini himself chose him personally. Left-back with an exceptional physique. He admitted to being a Juventus player as a child, with the asterisk that Maldini is the best full-back of all time, not only in Italian football, but also in the world. He has a dual Serbian-Hungarian citizenship, but if he has to choose, he would prefer our national team (Hungary)."
What is being said about Milos Kerkez in Hungary?
"His father has admitted in the past that his son had behaviour problems. They had such problems during the very short time he spent at Rapid Vienna before he came to ETO. According to him Milos "is not at all easy to manage" in the sense of his behaviour. But at the same time, Milos often stays on the field after training to do extra exercises."
His agent has stated that he may already be ready for the first team, as an alternative to Theo Hernandez. What do you think about it?
"According to news here in Hungary, AC Milan signed him precisely to be the deputy of Theo Hernàndez. I don't know if this is an exaggeration for a boy who is still 17 years old or not. But Stefano Pioli seems to manage more than well the young players that he has available in his team. In such environment, he has everything to become a milestone for AC Milan in the medium to long term plans. In addition, he played 16 games in the Hungarian second division, which is a league where young players are not trusted so much. Therefore, this number is not bad at all."
