AC Milan are currently first in the standings of the Serie A with 46 points. The second are Inter as they chase their Rossoneri cousins with only two points being the gap between them.
Many ex players and journalists gave their opinions on this exciting league race so far and especially on how Milan is doing well. Here is what the former Milan and Juventus full-back Gianluca Zambrotta said, in an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"Milan are in the lead and so far because they have had great performances and showed more continuity of results than the other clubs. I see a championship open until the last matchday with many uncertainties and unkown factors. However, I think that there are three favourites to fight for the title. Roma, is also a team that I really like for what they do in their attacking phase, they could also be in contention for the title, they're a possible outsider."
