The daily newspaper of Tuttosport in its pages today writes that Simon Kjaer has carried out instrumental examinations yesterday to assess how the recovery from the last injury is going.
The Dane defender was in fact forced to leave after about 20 minutes of the derby in Coppa Italia. Yesterday's check was very positive for the player . Now Kjaer will start a custom workout plan that will last for another 7-10 days. Then, he will have another medical check-up to evaluate the progress.
When will Kjaer return? The newspaper claims that it is possible that he will return between 18 February and 21 February: either against Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League or the derby against Inter in Serie A.
