Matchday 21 in Serie A as we continue the journey to see who will be crowned the champions of Italy. Milan will host the newly promoted Serie B side sharks of Crotone who are fighting tooth and nail to stay above the relegation zone. The sharks currently sit in 20th in Serie A with 13 points, while Parma sits above them in 19th place on 13 points and Cagliari is on top of the relegation drop with 15 points sitting in 18th place. Though Crotone are newcomers they managed to draw against Champions Juventus which means they are capable of causing trouble.
The Rossoneri will be looking to continue their winning ways after a tough win at Bologna, which saw ex Milan player Andrea Poli grab a goal at the latter half of the game in which Milan closed out victory 2-1. Gianluigi Donnarumma once again pulling a massive performance making incredible saves to keep Milan in the game. And Fikayo Tomori continued to impress on his full debut for the red and black faithful. With that being said the team is getting more competitive with more players recovering from injuries and COVID-19. Stefano Pioli will have a wide range of selection for his team, here is how Milan's lineup could appear:
Milan: 4-2-3-1: G. Donnarumma; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessié; Saelemakers, Çalhanoğlu, Leão (Rebić); Ibrahimović
Milan has been missing the likes of the dynamic duo Bennacer and Kessié. Having these two in the double pivot will be massive with the defensive efforts and passing outlets creating through the dynamics of the two midfielders. Hakan Çalhanoğlu will be looking to whip up some creativity in the midfield as we have seen some lack of creativity and personality from the Rossoneri in the last few matches. Fikayo Tomori will be looking to impress once again on the defensive end with his pace, strength, and awareness to close down players and shut down passing lanes. Pioli and his men will be looking for another win to continue their lead at the top of the table against rivals Inter Milan.
