Many days have passed but we continue to discuss the dispute between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku , during the Italian Cup derby.
The Federal Prosecutor is investigating the facts and words used by the two attackers during their verbal clash.
Lawyer Leonardo Cantamessa , a well-known Milan lawyer, was interviewed by Radio Punto Nuovo. He had his say on the confrontation between the two players and on the subsequent proceedings.
Cantamessa considers the investigation rather useless: “It will all end with a stalemate. It is absurd to think that Ibrahimovic is a racist, especially for someone like him who grew up where he did. I don't know Lukaku, but it is he who should abstractly answer certain phrases, while Ibrahimovic did not understand what he is accused of."
The lawyer also explained the origin of Ibra's provocations: “The story of voodoo was brought up by the president of Everton to justify Lukaku's failure to renew. Then the word donkey is an English football term that is used to tell someone that they are lacking qualities. I know the two got caught in their Manchester days, with the £50 story. But they are locker room jokes."
Finally on the outcome of the investigations: “Looking only at the event itself and not the echo created around it, it would be nothing. However, Milan showed that they can be strong even without Ibra, while Inter without Lukaku loses a lot."
