The negotiation aimed at ensuring that Hakan Calhanoglu renews with AC Milan could soon be finally unlocked.
As reported by today's edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, during the next week, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will meet the agent of the Turkish playmaker, Gordon Stipic.
In fact, and always according to the Roman daily newspaper, optimism is filtering regarding the success of this operation.
In order for the deal to go through successfully, the club managers at Casa Milan, would be willing to put a four-year 4 million euro per season on the table for Hakan.
However, for its part, the German agent of the Turk attacking midfielder born in 1994 is currently asking for a fee that is around 5 million euros net.
At the moment, the leaders of the Rossoneri club would not be willing to change their offer. In any case, the feeling is that the parties can find an agreement.
Otherwise, in the event of failure of negotiations, the Rossoneri will have to think of an alternative plan and turn to the mercato to find a replacement for Calhanoglu.
