Serbian football club Crvena zvezda issued a public statement regarding the insults of fan to Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the Europa League match.

The 'red and whites' played a decent match, but the stain on their game was thrown by an individual from the box who insulted the Swedish striker.

In addition to many swear words, Ibrahimović, a still unidentified individual, also said that he was a "stinking balija".

The Red Star issued a public statement and strongly condemned the perpetrator.

"Crvena zvezda strongly condemns the insulting calls to Zlatan Ibrahimović during last night's match with Milan. As a club, we have done everything to ensure that the organization of the match is at the level of two big clubs, and we will not allow one primitive individual to cast a stain on the traditionally known hospitality of our country and our people. The Red Star, in cooperation with the competent authorities, will find the mentioned individual and insist that he bears all the consequences of such behavior.

The Red Star sincerely apologizes to Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the inconvenience he experienced in our home. According to the old Serbian customs, our club has always been a good host and this is known throughout Europe and will remain so in the future. We will never tolerate such outbursts. "- reads the statement.
