It was reported before, during the summer transfer market window to be precise, that AC Milan's management was looking at many defenders to sign such as Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Bologna's sports coordinator, Walter Sabatini, spoke about the defender a while ago amidst Milan rumours where he said that the player has what it takes to be a worthy Milan player (you can read it here).
Now, Bologna's sporting director, Riccardo Bigon talked as well about about the young Japanese 22 year-old centre back when asked if AC Milan approached to sign him in January.
Here are his words:
"He is a young boy with ample room for improvement. He is a superior player and many both in Italy and abroad have asked us for it. He must continue to work and grow further"
