"I cannot enter into questions concerning the internal decisions of the club. Evidently he needs to rest because without this possibility I would not be able to understand how Milan can agree to a request of this kind."
On Donnarumma's contract renewal:
"I have followed Donnarumma since his youth sector days, I understood then that he could become a great goalkeeper. Milan must continue to have him in the squad for the future."
