Milan Primavera team secure a vital victory over Ascoli after two defeats against Inter and Sampdoria with two goals from Striker Gabriele El Hilali.

Milan youngsters won their 6th game of the season over last place Ascoli on matchday 12 of the championship, Giunti’s players started the first 45mins in a commanding fashion dominating possession from the get-go.

On the 6th minute mark, Nasti was brought down in the penalty box after receiving a pass from El Hilali giving referee Caputi no other option but to point to the spot, El Hilali scored after a not-so-convincing penalty where the goalkeeper Bolleta had a hand to the ball.

Seventeen minutes later, El Hilali scored the second goal of the match and his second goal in the championship after winning the ball close to the opposition's goal then a quick exchange with Nasti before driving a fine effort from the edge of the box into the bottom corner.

The Rossoneri almost added a third through Tonin, whose shot was deflected behind for a corner.  After 35 minutes, Ascoli pulled one goal back via the second penalty of the match through Alagna after a foul in the box by Kerkez on D'Agostino. Alagna despatched the ball confidently into the bottom left corner despite Moleri guessing the right way.

The second 45mins started in a similar fashion with the first: the Rossoneri dominating possession but chances were far between, El Hilali was close to scoring a 3rd and Ascoli almost got an equalizer but Filì who came on for Tahar did very well to stop an Ascoli counter.

On the 80th minute, Obaretin received his marching order after a second yellow card to leave the Rossoneri down to ten men and close the match on a nervy note. The Rossoneri however held on to victory.
2-1 Victory over Ascoli takes Milan to 18 points in 6th place, 4 points from 2nd place Inter Milan, and 7 points off 1st place Roma at the summit with a game in hand.
