AC Milan captain, Alessio Romagnoli is not having a good season with Il Diavolo. Since he has returned from the calf injury, he was not capable to show good qualities to help the team.
The Rossoneri fans were not happy with his performances and it comes to no surprise that the coaching staff, led by Stefano Pioli, has reportedly decided to bench him and give space to Chelsea's loanee Fikayo Tomori who is proving to be in good form.
Speaking on this topic, Peppe Di Stefano told Sky Sport the following:
"I do not consider it an incredible choice. In my opinion it is not a huge rejection but a choice due to a moment of poor form and great performance by Tomori. Romagnoli, among other things, has never been involved in the rotations because, apart from when he was injured, he has always played."
