Former AC Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia, has given an exclusive interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport, where he inevitably returned to his transfer from Lazio to Milan and also his departure from the Rossoneri heading into Turkey. Here are his statements:
On his transfer to Milan:
"To stay in Rome I said no to a big European, I can't say which one, but I didn't deserve to be called a mercenary. My renewal with the Biancocelesti was the longest in history, I wanted to stay. I chose Milan to try a new challenge, what's wrong with that? I didn't deserve the insults".
On him leaving Milan:
“Last year Pioli chose to let Bennacer play, but no problem. When I left I cried, however, that's how I am”.
