In an exclusive interview granted to Tuttosport, Sampdoria defender Tommaso Augello has revealed that he is an AC Milan fan ahead of the game opposing his club to the Rossoneri in Serie A on April 3. Here are his words:
"Just think that I never played at San Siro. I should have done it in February last year against Inter because Murru was disqualified. Then the match was postponed for Covid. It was a great blow, I would have liked to be there. Now I have this opportunity. It will be exciting even if one day I would like to play in a full San Siro. I am a Milan fan even now. I have always lived in the myth of Maldini but also of Nesta and many other champions. I think of Kaka or Sheva, there is no need to remember them all. Now I am reviewing a strong Milan, also in corporate terms. there are important young people. They are working to return to high levels. I never imagined playing at San Siro. I never even thought about it. It will be nice to be there. Too bad only for the absence of the public. Many of my friends from Milan would have come to see me, perhaps even cheering against me".
