Ladies and gentlemen, the Derby della Madonnina has officially a new queen! AC Milan striker and captain Valentina Giacinti lead the rossonere in a stunning comeback win against city rivals Internazionale, after trailing 1-0 by Moller, scoring a poker against the nerazzurre.

Starting eleven
Korenciova (7) – Transmitted confidence during the game and made two great saves, one on each half of the game. Perhaps, could have done a little better against Moller.
Vitale (7) – A very good outing from the defender after Inter’s goal. Didn’t let any room for Marinelli and Brustia to explore.
Agard (7) – Much like the rest of the team, after trailing by 1-0, took the realm of the game and kept the opponents under control.
Fusetti (6,5) – This game is a step up considering her last performances, but we all know she can do even better.
Bergamaschi (6,5) – A solid performance by the winger this time, still missing that pass accuracy from last year.
Vero (7) – Inter’s pressing gave her a hard time in the first half, but the Spaniard managed to dictate the tempo of the game anyway.
Jane (7,5) – When Jane is on the pitch and performing good, Milan’s game improve in fluidity and intelligence.
Hasegawa (7,5) – A world class midfielder indeed and Milan only benefits as she gets to know her teammates’ movements better.
Tucceri-Cimini (6,5) – Back to the starting eleven, Linda has improved compared to her outing against Juventus.
Dowie (8) – So much hard work for the Brit, she delivers her heart and soul on each ball and played an important role on 3 of the 4 Milan goals today, adding even another assist to her name.
Giacinti (10) – All hail to Queen Valentina Gianciti! who not only reached the 50th goal milestone with Milan shirt, but made it to the 53th.
Substitutes:
Conc, Grimshaw, Kulis, Morleo and Tamborini (S/N) – Ganz made the substitutions very late in the game.
Ganz (8) – The tactician prepared the team well for this important game and his choice to field a very talented and technical midfield has paid off.
