Ahead of a possible departure of their star midfielder Fabian Ruiz, Napoli led by sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli are looking to strengthen that position in the next summer transfer window, and have reportedly identified Hellas Verona's Mattia Zaccagni, who is also followed by AC Milan.
According to what was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Giuntoli has long since reached an agreement with the 25-year-old, but the player wants to wait until the end of the season to make a decision.
For their part, and unlike Napoli, Milan have not yet presented an offer to their Serie A counterpart.
