AC Milan's lawyer Leandro Cantamessa has spoken through the microphones of Radio Kiss Kiss about the expulstion of club's veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic against Parma. Here are his words:
"It all depends on what Mr. Maresca wrote in the report: if the referee has doubts about what he heard - and apparently he heard wrong - then he will write it and the question could have an unexpected and sensational implication. he will admit that he was wrong, Ibra will be able to play the next match despite having been sent off in Parma. Otherwise they could give him a day of disqualification or even two, but it would be profoundly wrong. An urgent appeal should be made but this instrument is not allowed for one-day disqualifications. It was just a misunderstanding - concludes Cantamessa - there is nothing else to add. I repeat: if the referee says he was wrong, the question will be overturned. It was a misunderstanding, really. I listened to the sounds reproduced: they are innocent sentences, there is not even a particular controversy. I don't know what the referee thinks he heard, I know there are no insults".
